Place them into the thickest part of the steak, meat or roast and the gauge will display the doneness of the meat, rare to well done (so you don't have to cut the meat!). Set of four meat meat thermometers (gauges), all different colours so you can use one for each persons steak/meat. Simple dial gauge for Rare, Medium and Well Done.
